I am a female photographer who Embraces the Human Landscape. All women are beautiful, whatever your age size or identity, whether you are a maiden, mother or crone.. It is my goal in life to help each woman celebrate her own body, to show her how beautiful she through the eyes that see her, and not just the mirror she looks in every morning. East Village Yoga has been my second home, inspiring me to offer my gift of helping women feel good in their own skin. The nautral light, and the dark sensual corners of the studio allow for a broad range of creativity.
I live my life with a passion that comes out in everything I do. Combine that with my seasoned skills at creative collaborating on a wide variety of projects, a delightful friendly soul and you have yourself a very unique person.
I love the human landscape. I love the curves, the texture, the sensuality from the bashful to the sinful. The female form has been celebrated for thousands of years, in countless media. Be it the lean hip bone, goddess proportioned waves of flesh or the woman inside, all women are beautiful. It's my vision to help women feel magnificent in their own skin.
Velvet Mae was born from devoted sensuality. It thrills to Lou Reed's voice and the seductive world of Velvet Underground's Venus in Furs, with Mae West's upturned lips and celebrated curves. How could i not fall in love with a woman who loves her curves as much as I love mine?
My flat rate includes ALL photos on a cd for you to do with as you please. I do not charge extra for use of any photos. You own everything. (up to 5 processed, colour corrected, etc. included in cost, small fee for each additional processed photo)
5% of my proceeds are put towards art kits for the teens who are brought into the Denise House. I've always found doodling to be a wonderful form of self expression. I wanted to reach out to the teens who are coping with coming out of abusive homes by offering art kits for them to pour out their emotions in a creative way.
