| East Village Yoga is offering an Alignment Based Yoga and Pilates Teacher Training. Expect to complete your training able to teach all styles and levels of Hatha Yoga including, Vinyasa Flow, Structured, Power Yoga, Yin Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Mat Pilates and one on one practice. With Alignment Based training, your education will be rooted in the biomechanical intelligence of the body. Your focus will be in learning and understanding Yoga and Pilates movements based in anatomy, kinesiology and physiology. Great care will be taken during each teacher training to demonstrate and explain the Yoga and Pilates postures accurately, enabling the participants to execute the cueing, movements and postures optimally, such that maximum physiological and psychological benefit is attained. Dates: March 29 - April 01 - Classes at the Toronto Yoga conference (classes and times will be assigned), April 13-15, May 11 and 12, May 25 and 26, June 8-10 and June 22-24 July and August - 40 hours to be determined by the group as summers are busy and people are away, September 14-16 October 19-21, November 23-25 |
